Alissa Faircloth

Alissa joined the Boe Creative Services team to take over direction of all company events in January 2016.

Prior to creating public, community and developer events for Boe Creative’s clients, Alissa worked at Houston Oaks Country Club as the Events Manager where she planned an executed special events for the club members. She planned private upscale weddings, corporate retreats, and all of the club’s holiday events.  She also managed the banquet team and the coordinators in the events department. Prior to her country club experience, Alissa worked as a free-lance wedding planner and event production coordinator where she had the privilege of working with celebrity event planners such as Colin Cowie and Brian Worley. Although raised in Houston, Alissa began her “unofficial” event planning career after college where she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a production assistant on movie and television sets. “Producing a major film or television show is very similar to planning and producing a large-scale VIP event”, says Alissa, “Both have: sets, décor, catering services, dressing rooms, and principal characters that are “stars of the show”.

Missing the “down home goodness” of her Texas roots, Alissa eventually moved to Austin where she pulled up her boot straps and officially turned her passion for party planning into a career in event planning and coordination. One of her first weddings she worked on was as an assistant, where the Four Seasons, million-dollar-wedding was featured on the WE TV network’s “Platinum Weddings”.

Working for Brian Worley of Your Bash out of Los Angeles gave Alissa opportunity to travel and work on exciting projects such as “Days of our Lives” anniversary party, several “American Idol” season finale parties, and The Foundation Polo Challenge where Prince William and Kate were the guests of honor.

Alissa also worked under the direction of event planner to the stars, Colin Cowie, whose production team opened the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve with 1,200 celebrities and VIP’s as well as planned the multi-million-dollar wedding in Austin of a well known Houston icon’s daughter.

After settling back in her hometown of Houston with her daughter, Olivia in 2010, Alissa started her own event and wedding coordination company with full service catering where she planned everything from intimate private chef dinners to high-end socialite weddings to executive corporate events.

Alissa’s diverse experience in planning and executing events combined with her passion for creating exceptional experiences for others, is what makes her a great fit for the events at Boe Creative Services.

When she’s not event-planning, Alissa enjoys spending time with her family which includes her eleven-year-old daughter, Olivia her husband, Jeff, and their dog, Gunner. She also loves cooking, traveling, and shopping. Alissa is passionate about her family, encouraging others, supporting her community, and her country!
